A child is brought into this world, learning of the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, Jesus, the Tooth Fairy, Superheroes, and a bunch of other “Extra-Reality” entities.
As they grow up, they find that many of the stories they based reality on was not as real as they hoped for. The Magic dies. They see the world in less colors than before. They might start to doubt stories of this nature, because they were let down by it to a degree where their entire world shifted.
The last few years of my life has had a magical aspect to it which had me reconsider the possibility of magic in everyday life, to the point where I had to open up my mind again. In being open-minded, I realized just how closed it was.
Our minds are in many ways like a parachute; It won’t work unless it’s open. At least not to its fullest potential. If you go through life, and all of a sudden you see things happening that is directly connected to a certain thing you did, or an event that you were a part of, denying it – in my humble opinion – is stupid.
It’s as if you’re wishing for something grander than what you have known, and as soon as it happens, you CHOOSE to deny it. You CHOOSE to ignore the possibility of it. Well, it won’t take long until you’ll find yourself in a state that is very “non-magical” again.
“Magic” is what?
The occurrence of something that seems impossible? The manipulation of the quantum field of energy? Rainbows shooting out of your fingertips? A wizard in a thundercloud? Invisible ink?
We all have our own definition of magic, just like we do with reality as a whole. My reality is very different compared to that of someone who works in a job they hate. And their reality is very different from an astronaut’s reality.
The Fading of Magic
What if magic is not just a fantasy, but a vital part of our modern world? Imagine that within every whisper of the wind, every spark of an idea, magic is quietly at work.
As children, the world sparkles with endless possibilities. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and superheroes not just fill our dreams but our realities too. Everything is vivid, alive with colors and stories that dance beyond the boundaries of the mundane.
But as the years tick by, skepticism often sets in, due to the way things are “supposed to be”. The vibrant adventures of childhood slowly fades into more dull and colorless realities of the responsible adult.
The magic, it seems, dies.
The Transformation of Magic
Or does it? Consider for a moment the possibility that magic never truly left. It merely transforms, waiting to be seen with new eyes once the wisdom has been embodied and integrated.
As adults, the resurgence of wonder might seem like a far-off echo, but what if it’s closer than we think?
This takes us into metaphysics, frequencies, vibrations, and emotions – the unseen forces that govern the universe.
They are not mere concepts for philosophers or physicists. They are the threads of a tapestry that everyone weaves, knowingly or not, with each and every action they make.
The Power of Frequencies and Vibrations
Take frequencies and vibrations, for instance.
Every thought, every emotion, sends out a unique vibration into the universe, much like dropping a pebble into a vast ocean of energy.
The ripples are real, even if unseen.
They interact with the fabric of reality, shaping our lives in ways we might dismiss as coincidences or serendipity – but what if this is modern magic at work?
The Influence of Emotions
Then there are emotions, powerful and raw. They can lift us to the heights of joy or plunge us into the depths of despair. These feelings, however, are not just passing states of mind. They are energetic expressions that can alter our physical world.
Ever walked into a room and felt tension so thick you could cut it with a knife?
That’s emotional energy, tangible and potent.
Rediscovering Modern Magic
Reconsidering magic in this light, it’s not about rainbows shooting out of fingertips or wizards controlling the weather.
It’s about recognizing that each of us interacts with a dynamic field of energy every moment of our lives.
By tuning into this field, by acknowledging that our thoughts and feelings have power, we open the door to a world where magic is not just possible but present.
Keeping an open mind is not just about accepting the possibility of the extraordinary.
It’s about recognizing the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Magic is all around us, in the very fabric of our daily lives, through metaphysics, frequencies, vibrations, and emotions.
The colors never really faded; perhaps, we just stopped seeing them.
But once we open our eyes and minds, the magic of the modern world becomes undeniable, vibrant, and wonderfully real.
